Morton's letter to Vaughan regarding a collection of antique Peruvian vessels "from ruins near Truxillo" deposited in his care for the APS by Marmaduke Burrough (a memoir by Dr. Burrough to follow); and Peter S. du Ponceau's letter to Johann S.
