Description: The Osage materials in the ACLS collection consist of materials in multiple sections of the finding aid. The "Osage" section of the finding aid contains Wolff's linguistic field notes (item X7c.1). In the "Iowa (Chiwere)" section, Marsh's lexical file (item X4a.2, part #1) contains some comparisons to Osage cognates. In the "Dakota" section, there is Deloria's "A Study of Osage consonant shifts" (item X.3).

Description: The Pamela Wallace Papers include the full range of professional correspondence, research files including extensive copies of historical documents, works by Wallace, and a sizeable portion consisting of tapes recording Yuchi language classes, genealogical interviews, and tribal matters. The collection includes over 3,000 images of the social and ceremonial dances of the Yuchi people, consisting of 350 color slides, 1,300 color and black and white photographs with 1,400 color negatives.

Description: Pomo materials in the Harvey Pitkin Papers are identified in Subcollection 1. They consist of occasional information in the notebooks of A.L. Kroeber in Series I-A and II-A, and in A. M. Halpern's notebook "Stonyford, Nomlaki notebook" in Series I-A. Subseries 4-C contains unpublished vocabularies collected by Sally McLendon, Samuel Barrett, and slip files from the Archives of the Survey of California Indian Languages housed at Berkeley. Series 6 contains a significant amount of linguistic work done by Sally McLendon focused on the Eastern Pomo.
