Description: The Klamath-Modoc materials in William Fenton's "Indian Language Field Recordings" collection are located in "Series 8: Klamath Indian Political Texts" and as the first tape in "Series 9: Blackfoot Songs and Dances." These recordings cover Klamath history, especially tribal council history and the Treaty of 1864, with conversations on Klamath singing, medicine, some information on Paiute and Fenton's reading of notes on interviewees David Chocktoot and Watson Duffy.
