Description: The Wappo materials in the Harvey Pitkin Papers consist of Notebooks written by A.L. Kroeber in Series II-A. Series II-B includes an English-Wappo slip file based on Paul Radin's notes. There are also a number of Kroeber notebooks in this series. Subseries 5 includes Calfornia-Oregon comparative Vocabularies.

Consists of four notebooks, titled "Wappo linguistics [IV, V, VI, and VII-VIII]," containing text in Wappo and, in at least one case, some interlinear translation. Notebook IV contains a brief section of conjugations, 180-183; and genealogy, 184-185. Radin's note, 1947, indicates that part of the material was published. See also Radin (1929a).
