Materials compiled by Pennsylvania Quaker missionary Halliday Jackson. Titled "Negotiations with the Indians of Pennsylvania by the Society of Friends to 1795," this assemblage contains a census of Native groups; miscellaneous information about various Native peoples; a verbatim collection of previous speeches and messages to and from various Native groups; letters from Timothy Pickering, Jasper Parrish [or Parish], and Isadore Chapin; and a discussion of various Iroquoian, Stockbridge, Brotherton, etc., peoples.
