Discusses Indian vocabularies being collected by Du Ponceau. Sends vocabulary compiled from Carver (C) and Samuel White (S), a Nanticoke. Heckewelder has little knowledge of the Mahicanni [Mohican]; suggests missionary, Sargeant.
