Recorded as part of Gertrude Kurath's broader study of contemporary religion and music among Anishinaabe communities in Michigan. Includes traditional songs, Catholic hymns, and Free Methodist revival meetings. Also includes one talk entitled, "Longfellow's Use of Michigan Indian Tales."
