The most significant Lenape (or "Delaware") materials in Mary Haas' collection are pages from a field notebook recorded with Willy Longbones, likely during the 1930s in Eufaula, Oklahoma, containing paradigms of verbs, locatives, interrogatives, possessives, adjectives, and numbers (Series 2). She later incorporated these into comparative linguistic work as lexical slip files (Series 9), as well as corresponding with Ives Goddard (Series 1).
