Materials relating to Pequot history and culture. The first folder contains a 28-page paper, possibly by Speck, on 1939 excavations near Noank Cove, Connecticut. The second contains an undated 25-page account of the "Beginnings of Pequot Plantation," attributed to Eva L. Butler, based on documents in New London, Groton, and Hartford, intended school children, and distributed by Industrial Arts Cooperative Service.
