Description: The Laguna materials in the Elsie Clews Parsons papers consist of a draft manuscript of a "Laguna emergence myth," found in Subcollection I, Series II, "Notes, manuscripts, etc." under item 61, which contains draft versions from her "Pueblo Indian Religion" book. In Subcollection II, Series III, "Lectures and Manuscripts", see the "In the Southwest" manuscript, which contains "Folder #9. "Laguna Lodging Houses," In Subcollection II, Series IV, "Research Notes," there are numerous field notebooks labelled "Laguna," as well as some Laguna information in "Zuni - Notes by Alfred L. Kroeber" and "Zuni and Laguna Songs - Notes." Some of this material may be restricted due to cultural sensitivity or privacy concerns.
