Description: The Patwin materials in the ACLS collection consist of 4 items in the "Patwin" section of the finding aid. Jaime de Angulo's "The Patwin language" (item P4b.1-4) consists of analyses phonology and morphology; semasiology (semantically arranged vocabularies), conversation, and autobiography, all relating to the Colusa dialect. Three items by Radin include a Patwin-English dictionary (item P4b.5), a set of ethnographic and folkloristic stories (item P4b.6-7), and a sketch of Patwin grammar (item P4b.8).
