The Xinca materials in the ACLS collection consist of one item in the "Xinca" section of the finding aid, recorded by Roland Dixon in 1924 titled "Zoque and Xinca compared with Penutian" (item Mz.1). This has handwritten additions by Edward Sapir. See also "Hokan compared with various Middle and South American languages" (item H.4) by Alfred Kroeber, in the "Hokan" section of the finding aid, which consists of vocabularies of 21 English items with equivalents in Yuman, Hokan, Subtiaba, Xinca, Lenca, Chibcha, Guayom, Chibchan, Zoque, and Mixe, taken from published and unpublished sources.
