Jordan's copy of Moravian missionary David Zeisberger's "Essay of an Onondaga grammar…", which Jordan edited and published in four parts in multiple issues of the Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography in 1888. Originally interleaved with letters from: William N. Beauchamp, Eben N. Horsford, Isaac Craig, Horatio Hale, De Cost Smith, Daniel G. Brinton, and Albert Cusiek.
