Edward Sapir briefly mentions Wiyot kinship terms in the context of his work on Blackfoot in a letter in Series I. Correspondence. More extensively, there are also Wiyot examples in a comparative vocabulary of California tribes (with words from from Hupa, Wiyot, Karuk, Shasta, Achumawi, Atsugewi, Konkow, Yana, Wintu, Maidu, and Modoc) in Series II.
