Description: The Kwakwaka'wakw materials in the Elsie Clews Parsons papers consist of several folders containing stencils of Kwakwaka'wakw copper with handwritten notes on them in the hand of Franz Boas. These materials are found in Subcollection I, Series II, "Notes, manuscripts, etc." as items 66 and 66-A. These may be related to copper written about in George Hunt's "History of twenty coppers from Alert Bay", item 44 in the ACLS collection (Mss.497.3.B63c) - see the guide entry for Kwakwaka'wakw materials, ACLS collection.
